For each day`s debrief check the main page ( http://20plusjapan08.wordpress.com/ ), and click on the “Daily Journal” Link. Check back often; we will provide daily summaries each night we return to the hotel. Thank you for praying for us.

DAY 0.5: May 31. ( Dallas Time: 8:00am. Tokyo Time: 10:00pm.)

We Arrived In Tokyo Safely, We are all headed to bed for some much needed sleep!

.

DAY 1 (June 1)

Today We will be attending worship at Oyumino`s Honda Chapel. Shortly afterward, we will hold a Texas themed party in the afternoon. It looks like this first day we will spend most of our time connecting with the church members at Oyumino, but we might get a chance spend some time with non-Christian students late in the evening. There are several members of the church who regularly attend an english speaking society with fellow students, and they plan to invite their friends to the church, possibly for the first time. Please be praying that their hearts would be softened and that the Lord would give us his words to use to extend his kindgom. Love you guys. Thanks for praying for us!

.

DAY 2 (June 2nd)

Tommorrow we will be going to “J`s Cafe” and spending time with some people in a bible study there. In the evening, I think we will be going into Dowtown Tokyo with some of the same students from the Barbecue. Please pray that our time is used for the Lord`s glory to call people to himself and love them. Thanks you guys! Love Y`all!

.

DAY (June 3rd)

Sorry we didn`t post this sooner, today we split up into groups to meet with different students across campus. The time was wonderful, and we had many of them come to karaoke this evening. Please pray for the students: Kon, Takesh, Takashi, Natalie, Jun, Edina, and many of the others. They are getting to know the church members and permanent missionaries better, which helps build trust for sharing the gospel. Love you guys.

.
DAY 4 (June 4th).

Tommorrow we will be attending and helping lead a midweek Worship service at Oyumino Church (Honda Chapel location). This will be mostly with other church members. Later in the day we might listen to Dan Iverson talk about their continuing long term project and spend time with the children of the church. This would be a great time to pray for our own hearts to be softened as we consider how the Lord will use us for Japan; as prayer supporters, as short term missionaries, or possibly as long term financial supporters or long term missionaries. The weather is rainy, but we still wish you guys where here, ;) .

.

Day 5 (June 5th).

Sorry for the delayed update guys. We have all been super busy. Today we had a wonderful chance to get some much needed rest, and to spend more time with Students at our Texas Party. The party went very well and, there were around ten students, the nine of us, and six or seven missionaries. Please pray for these students to continue to get to know the missionaries and most importantly, for Christ to be drawing these students to Him.

.

Day 6 (June 6th).

Tomorrow we will spending time with students touring many spots in Tokyo. This will be an excellent opportunity for continuing conversation and building trust as they grow closer to the misssionaries. Once again, we ask that you please pray for these relationships and the chance we have to love these students.

.

Day 7 (June 7th).

Tommorrow Paige & David Seifert and Amy & Debra will have the chance to sit in on an english class.  Held by some of the long term people that are here in toyko.  Then, for supper, we will be having a debrief of our entire trip with John Phile and his family.  Please pray for our own hearts to be softened, as we consider the posibility of what it means to support these churches in the future.  Also, please pray for a young man named Haris, who is among these students that we have been witnessing to.   He is from Nepal, and has been studying in Japan.  He heads pack to Nepal in a couple of months, which means he won`t be able to be around any of the long term missionaries he has been getting to know.  Pray that despite his return to Nepal, he would find Christ.
