we couldn’t help but notice that throughout Japan there is an affinity for many things American, but not so much for things grammatical (english grammar, that is).

but, in all humility, if we Americans even attempted to write even one character of kanji, I think the Japanese would be even more amused at what our effort that would resemble something on the order of a squished bug, or a Rorhshach test
